Fund for European Affairs and Development of AP Vojvodina is a regional public institution dedicated to supporting the European integration processes of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia. Its primary roles encompass coordinating provincial EU-related activities, facilitating access to EU structural and development funds, supporting project development, building institutional partnerships and promoting European values at the regional level. To reflect Vojvodina's commitment to acting as a proactive and constructive partner in European policymaking, APV established in 2011, Office of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Brussels. It is located within the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the EU. This office serves as a pivotal point for representing and promoting the region’s economic, scientific, educational and cultural capacities in Brussels, ensuring continuous communication with EU institutions and other regions. Also, a cornerstone of Vojvodina’s innovation ecosystem is the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad (NTP NS), founded by the Provincial Government. NTP NS supports the growth and international competitiveness of member companies and start-ups by fostering the commercialisation of innovations, providing business development services and encouraging the application of new technologies. Its members include technology companies engaged in innovation, start-up teams and R&D institutes. Equally important is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, a key institution driving innovation and economic growth in the region. The Chamber plays a strategic role in attracting new investments, supporting business formation and positioning itself as a “bridge” between entrepreneurs and provincial authorities. It actively contributes to shaping an innovation-friendly environment by connecting the business sector with government and development actors. Vojvodina region also boasts outstanding institutions such as the University of Novi Sad, the BioSense Institute – a European Centre of Excellence for ICT in agriculture – and a growing number of dynamic SMEs in fields like agri-tech, biotech and clean energy.
