West Norway Office is one of five Norwegian regional offices in Brussels. Our member organisations include the Vestland County Council, Møre and Romsdal County Council, several municipalities, and the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). Our mission is to help them to achieve their ambitions and find solutions to common European challenges through regional cooperation. We are devoted to raising awareness about the vast opportunities that lies within the various EU programmes and assisting our member organisations in finding European partners for their project ideas. Our key priorities include climate, energy (hydrogen, batteries, alternative fuels), research, education and skills, as well as blue growth.

Youth Entrepreneurship is at the heart of the YES (Youth Entrepreneurial Spirits) Specialists, a 2-year project coordinated by Vestland County Council (Norway), and co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The project outcomes will be presented at this event on 2 March between 14:30-17:30 at the Representation of the European Region Tyrol offices.

The various forms of cultural tourism in Europe are important drivers of growth, jobs and economic development of European regions and urban areas.
