2022 EU4Health Work Programme adopted

The European Commission has adopted the 2022 EU4Health Work Programme, which will invest over €835 million in building stronger, more resilient health systems. The programme, which paves the way towards a European Health Union, proposes actions in four areas:

  • Crisis preparedness
  • Disease prevention
  • Health systems and healthcare workforce
  • Digitalisation.

EU4Health will support other EU health initiatives, including the fight against COVID-19, Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, the Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe and the European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA).

Member states, associated third countries, international organisations, NGOs and the private sector will be eligible for funding under the programme managed by HaDEA. Learn more here. Read the full work programme here

On 20 January, HaDEA will run an information session on the Work Programme and its upcoming calls - find out more here
