The REINFORCING project supports European organisations and institutions in transitioning to a new paradigm where responsibility and openness drive research and innovation processes. To make the green and digital transitions fair and inclusive, institutions and territories need to shift to more open and transparent R&I practices in which all actors share responsibility for developing services and products that are acceptable and sustainable and bring social satisfaction.

To support this change, REINFORCING has ring-fenced funding for 96 grants to invite institutions from around Europe to develop projects aiming to implement new modes of R&I that drive more just transitions.

REINFORCING has opened a call to support organisations and territories that actively contribute to the EU Missions by engaging relevant stakeholders, including citizens, in the R&I process and policies connected to one of the Missions. Consortia applying for this call should be able to demonstrate that they are active in one of the EU Missions.

Several ERRIN members participated in a workshop in April to help shape this call, ensuring it can support their cities, regions and organisations in advancing their stakeholder engagement activities related to the EU Missions.

Applicants can submit their proposals by 26 September 2024. Successful proposals will receive up to 60,000 euros to implement a 12-month project.

Two information sessions will be organised to present the call and the requirements for applying. These webinars will take place on 9 July between 12:00-13:30 CEST and 2 September between 15:00-16:30 CEST.
