Applications open for the “Compact Cities” Partnership

Applications are open to join the new thematic Partnership “Compact Cities – Sustainable Urban Planning and Sprawl Mitigation” under the Urban Agenda for the EU. This initiative supports cities and other stakeholders in developing more compact, sustainable, and resilient urban forms, while limiting urban sprawl and promoting integrated planning.

The Partnership will work to identify and propose concrete actions within the framework of the Urban Agenda for the EU, focusing on improved regulation, tailored financing and better use of knowledge and data. Selected partners will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the Action Plan, share experiences and strengthen cooperation across governance levels.

The call is open to cities, Member States, regions, EU institutions, civil society organisations and other relevant stakeholders wishing to contribute. Diverse applicants are encouraged to apply to ensure a broad range of perspectives and expertise.
