Apply to be the Best European Rail Tourism Campaign of 2021

As part of the European Year of Rail (EYR), the European Travel Commission and Eurail have launched a joint competition for marketing campaigns promoting train travel as a sustainable tourism model in the EU. The award works towards the EYR objectives as it promotes rail tourism among EU citizens, encourages cross-sectoral dialogue between the rail and tourism sectors and contributes towards the EU Green Deal. 

Benefits of entering the competition include:

  • Exposure on the ETC and partners' digital channels 
  • Corporate public relations and dissemination via the ETC and Eurail channels
  • Expert market intelligence and insights on campaign planning
  • Potentially receiving the title of 'Best European Rail Tourism Campaign 2021'.

There are two categories for the awards: new promotional initaitves EYR 2021 and best completed rail tourism promotional initative - the latter being a jury prize.
