Be.CULTOUR: Engaging with regional ecosystems on Circular Cultural Tourism

Be.CULTOUR project, in which ERRIN is a partner, has built a community of regional ecosystem representatives committed to shaping the future of cultural tourism in their territory. Sixteen applicants were selected as ‘Mirror Innovation Ecosystems’ and will work together with the representatives of six pilot ecosystems in Aragon (Spain), Basilicata (Italy), Larnaca (Cyprus), Vojvodina (Serbia) and the cross-border area of North-East Romania and Moldova. The 16 selected applicants will build the “Community of Interest” and participate in a peer-learning scheme based on the pilot/mirror approach.

Between October and November, the six pilot ecosystems, which form the ‘Community of Practice’, will organise their first local workshop to understand the local needs and challenges and co-design human-centred innovations for circular cultural tourism through collaborative methodologies.

The 16 selected Mirror Innovation Ecosystems building the ‘Community of Interest’ will have their first meeting on 26 October. The Community will engage in a peer-learning programme between 2022 and 2023 made of online conversations, webinars and face-to-face meetings. The event will allow to boost the Community and better understand the needs and expectations in terms of the peer-learning scheme.
