Call for contribution - Design within Public Policies

Since several years, local and national governments use design (service design, experience design, design management, UX design, design thinking, speculative design ,etc.) to better associate users to the design of new services or facilities, produce creative scenarios about the future of a territory or a public policy, or to assist the transformation of an administration. After some years of experience, what is the feedback of the stakeholders , and what can be the horizon for the future of such a movement ?   WE NEED YOUR EXPERTISE ! Ministry of Culture and  Ministry for Economic & Finance of French Government are launching a programme called “Assises du Design*” (Design Assembly) addressed to the national main design stakeholders, with the aim of producing proposals and a vision to the Ministries, in order to build a national Design policy. Cité du design Saint-Etienne and la 27e Région agency, coordinators of the “Design within Public Policies” thread within the Assises du Design, are seeking for the contributions of international design stakeholders, in order to share their point of view about this topic, their experiences and their vision to develop this promising sector. This contribution will be analysed by the Design Assembly committee  and annexed to the final report and proposals delivered to the French government on11th December 2019. Please send the filled in questionnaire by 2nd September 2019  to lesassisesdudesign@citedudesign.com   *LES ASSISES DU DESIGN (Design Assembly): The  Assises du design (Design Assembly) is a national initiative from by two French Ministries: Ministry of Culture and  Ministry for Economy & Finance.
