Call for Participants - Cultural Heritage in Action Peer Learning Visit in Zaragoza

Cultural Heritage in Action, project in which ERRIN is partner, is organising a peer learning visit to Zaragoza from 26 to 28 October.

This is a great opportunity for anyone working on culture and cultural heritage for a local, regional or national administration, civil society organisation, cultural initiative or project in the EU 27 + UK. The group of selected participants will be composed of representatives from European cities and regions but is also open to a limited number of cultural heritage stakeholders.

The call for participants is open until 2 September for a visit to take place from 26-28 October 2022. Selected applicants (24 per visit) will be informed by the end of September. The Cultural Heritage in Action project is covering for participants’ travel and stay in Zaragoza.

During the peer-learning visit, participants will be able to discuss successful local policies and projects, top tips, pitfalls, and failures, as well as own local experience, in a private and friendly expert environment. Selected participants will get useful information and ideas for improving or initiating local projects or transferring some of the presented practices.

Themes tackled during the visit:

  • Cultural heritage’s universal accessibility: the role of museums: example of the project Between the Lights implemented in the Gargallo Museum
  • Participation and social outreach to dynamize local museums and generate an atmosphere of continuous creativity
  • The role of local museums towards young audiences: participation, creation, innovation
