Since the beginning of 2020, ZSI has been leading the Interreg Central Europe project CERUSI (Central European Rural Social Innovation), which aims to strengthen skills and capacities for social innovation in rural areas. In the course of this project, the CERUSI RSI_Academy started on 25 January 2021. This low-threshold online training course is free of charge and available in English, German, Czech, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian and Italian and includes five training modules dealing with different aspects of social innovation and social entrepreneurship.

The RSI_Academy starts with an introduction into the specifics of rural areas (Module 1) and presents practical tools on the following topics: better understanding the needs of target groups (Module 2), developing business models (Module 3), measuring impact (Module 4) and sustainability (Module 5).
