CO-WATERS services available for Coalition Members
CO-WATERS is a Horizon Europe project (2025–2029) in which ERRIN works to build and sustain the Coalition of cities, regions, islands and ports for the Mission Ocean and Waters. The project offers Coalition members networking, peer learning, trainings, stakeholder and citizen engagement support and funding guidance to help them reach the Mission's 2030 objectives. CO-WATERS is also developing a Label in support of the Mission Ocean and Waters to recognise local efforts. ERRIN leads the project's work on stakeholder mapping and continuous member engagement.
The Coalition was officially launched in March 2026 and has now launched its first support services for Members. If you haven't yet joined, you can do so here (sign-up takes less than five minutes). Once you become a member, here is how you can get involved:
Capacity Building Programme: The first wave of registrations is now open for the full training programme, running from September 2026 to June 2027. Participants can express interest in one or more trainings through a single application form. The programme opens with Systems Thinking Fundamentals in September 2026. Applications are still open but seats are filling up quickly. Apply here.
Working Groups for networking and peer-learning: First meetings are expected after the summer. Potential topics include Policy and Governance; Capacity Building; Stakeholder and Citizen Engagement; Mobilising Finance; and Credibility and Recognition. This is a rolling call and you can sign up here.
