The European Commission has launched a new consultation on digital access to European cultural heritage. The public consultation invites all stakeholders and other interested people to offer feedback on the Recommendation of 2011 on digitising cultural material and digital preservation. The contributions will be used to propose a more appropriate policy instrument to support the digital transformation of cultural heritage.

The consultation is now open to all citizens, public administrations, cultural heritage institutions, international organisations and networks and academia until 14 September 2020.
