The Covenant of Mayors for Energy and Climate will celebrate a small, medium and large-sized signatory in its 2020 awards. Applications are open until 16th January 2020 and winners will be awarded at a ceremony in Brussles on 4th March 2020. Applicants will be evaluated on their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SE(C)AP). Specifically, the judges will consider the following in relation to signatories' SE(C)APs:

• Commitments and monitoring
• Stakeholder involvement
• Financing of actions
• Administration
• Governance
• Connecting 2020 commitments with 2030 commitments.
