The Health System Response Monitor (HSRM) has been launched with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak to provide and collect information on responses to the crisis in different countries. It is a joint undertaking of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, the European Commission, and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. As an online European health systems and policies monitor it focuses on the responses of health systems and captures wider public health initiatives. 

The platform provides policy recommendations and technical guidance from the WHO Regional Office for Europe on how to strengthen the health systems response to COVID-19 and the EU response in the area of public health. The cross-country thematic analysis of health system responses and other public health initiatives related to the COVID-19 crisis will be soon available.
