Cultural Heritage in Action: call for good practices

The Cultural Heritage in Action project call for good practices is currently open for submissions until 15 October 2022. Representatives of regions, cities and rural areas in the EU and the UK are invited to participate in the call to highlight their public administrations’ work in cultural heritage.

The call aims to add innovative and inspiring practices to the project's good practice database on the topics of:

  • Recovery and resilience through cultural heritage in a post-pandemic world
  • Cultural heritage for local sustainable development
  • Governance and financing: new roles for local and regional authorities

In some cases, the questionnaire can be filled in “on behalf of” a regional/local administration, for example by a university, an architect, or a local/regional stakeholder; a written endorsement by a representative of the regional/local administration at the origin of the practice should then be provided.

Around 30 best practices will be selected for publication and promotion through the Cultural Heritage in Action programme throughout Europe and beyond. The practices will be chosen for their strategic vision, relation to EU strategic documents, impacts and results, potential for replication and thematic balance.
