EASME - the Executive Agency for SMEs - has transitioned into a new initiative called EISMEA - the European Innovation and SME Executive Agency. The new agency groups together the activities of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the programmes related to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The newly established agency will manage programmes focussing on SME support as well as innovation, single market, consumer policy and interregional innovation investments.
