ERRIN at the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2018

The EU Sustainable Energy Week 2018 is approaching. This year, ERRIN will be running two events: Energy Storage Vision 2025. Can Europe beat Elon Musk? on 6 June from 14:00 to 16:30 at Greater Birmingham West Midlands Brussels Office (Avenue d'Auderghem 22-28 Oudergemselaan, Brussels). This side event will showcase two innovative, sustainable, stationary energy storage technologies from two European Regions, Thuringia (DE) and Friesland (NL) and will look at how these technologies work, how far the development has progressed until now, but also what needs to be done to further improve stationary battery systems. The agenda and registration are available here.  Smart grids, renewables and storage - leading the transition towards a new European energy system on 7 June from 11:00 to 12:30 at the Residence Palace. This session, organised together with EASE (European Association for Storage of Energy) and InnoEnergy, will explore how innovation in clean energy technologies can boost lighthouse ambitions and how the EU can play a decisive role in making all stakeholders joining their force to pull in the same direction.
