Save the date for the ERRIN Extraordinary General Meeting, which will take place on 16 November 2023 from 14:00-16:00 CET in the ERRIN premises (Rue du Luxembourg 3, 8th floor, 1000 Brussels).

As discussed during the Spring AGM, this Extraordinary General Meeting is organised to make the necessary changes to the ERRIN Articles of Association following requirements by the new code for Belgian companies and associations. Approval of the updated Articles is crucial for the functioning of the network. For the Extraordinary General Meeting and the vote to be valid, a minimum of 2/3 of the ERRIN members must be represented at the Meeting. Therefore, the engagement of each member is of crucial importance.

Given the formal content of the meeting, we invite one designated voter per member organisation to take part. Full members (with a permanent representation in Brussels) should participate in person. Associate members (without permanent representation in Brussels) who cannot join in person will be able to register to vote online. You will be notified when we publish the event and open the registration in due course. The link to the event will also be updated in this news item.

The current version of the ERRIN Articles of Association can be consulted here. The proposed revised version will be published on the upcoming event page at least a month before the meeting, allowing time for all members to raise their questions in advance. We will inform you as soon as the proposed revised version is available. Please consult it in advance and get back to teresa.vio@errin.eu with any potential questions before the meeting as the approval of the revised version also requires a 2/3 majority.  

In case the approval is not reached, members will be required to gather for a new vote.
