ERRIN is looking for a Communications Assistant (traineeship)

ERRIN is looking for a Communications Assistant! This traineeship is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience in Research and Innovation, working closely with the rest of the team in different areas of activities such as communications and member relations. Learn more about ERRIN's recent work in the 2021 Year in Review. 


Job description 

The trainee will actively participate in the daily work of the organisation by carrying out tasks linked to communications (website, newsletter, and social media), member relations and office management. All roles in ERRIN involve a certain degree of multitasking and provide room for growth.  

The Member Relations and Communications Officer and the Administration and HR Officer will be the trainee’s main points of reference and will provide guidance during the traineeship period.


What we offer

We offer a six-month Belgian traineeship under the Convention d'immersion professionnelle with the possibility for an extension, where the successful candidate will be immersed into ERRIN's dynamic team, working with the secretariat and its members. The traineeship offers a salary of €1050 per month and a monthly travel pass for Brussels. 


Candidate profile

This position is open to all recent graduates who are looking for a place to develop their skills and to build a strong profile for a future career in communications and research and innovation. We are seeking a self-motivated person who can work independently as well as in a team. The candidate should also be organised, and solution-oriented. Excellent spoken and written English is required along with knowledge of one other European language. The person must be customer-focused and able to work in and actively contribute to a team. The candidate is expected to be based in Brussels or available to relocate at the start of the contract.

We would like the candidate to start as soon as possible, or no later than the end of August.
