ERRIN's Health Working Group has endorsed the recommendations for the European Health Data Space (EHDS) produced by the DigitalHealthEurope project, in which ERRIN is a partner.

"ERRIN is pleased to support the DHE recommendations on the European Health Data Space. Preparing the regional administrations for cross-border and European data sharing is of course a high priority in our members’ digital and health agendas. ERRIN particularly appreciates the DHE recommendations about coordinated investments between different levels into the creation and management of infrastructure. The network also supports the ‘One million connected homes’ idea, which would be an excellent example of local/regional health innovation ecosystems acting together for the better quality of life of their citizens."

The endorsement follows a joint meeting between the Health and ICT Working Groups, where the EHDS was presented by DG SANTE. The DHE recommendations were also presented and members can find the presentation on the event page.
