56 Million euros available

€56 million available for coronavirus solutions

A new call has launched, making €56 million available for medical technologies, digital tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can offer solutions to the coronavirus crisis. The tools should improve Europe's ability to respond to the crisis, recover and prepare for future crises or waves.

The call is part of a larger call of expression of interest with a total budget of €122 million mobilised by the European Commission's R&I programme Horizon 2020 for the COVID-19 crisis. It will also address the repurposing of manufacturing to safe-guard the supply of vital medical equipment.

The timeline for the call is short to allow solutions to produce results as soon as possible, therefore the deadline for submissions is 11th June 2020. For more information on how to apply, click here
