European Commission has opened online consultation for the future objectives of research and innovation, being a part of preparation process for the next Multiannual Financial Framework. The co-designing process will ensure that different stakeholders’ interests and ideas will be taken into consideration. The provided input will be included in the preparation of a ‘Strategic Plan’ for Horizon Europe, which will then guide the work programmes and calls for proposals for Horizon Europe in the first four years (2021-2024). The co-designing process will be enriched by the European Research and Innovation Days in Brussels on 24 - 26 September 2019. ERRIN is currently working on its answer to the consultation, which will underline the importance of regional and local innovation ecosystems as well as the collaborative approach in the clusters – bringing together a wide range of actors in the ecosystem to accelerate bringing innovative solutions to the market. We encourage all our members to also take part in the creation of future R&I! The consultation is public and available for everyone interested in research and innovation.
