CCRI Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues

Expression of interest: Circular Cities and Regions Initiative Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues

The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), one of ERRIN's projects, is a cooperation and support scheme of the European Commission, supporting EU cities and regions in improving circularity in their economic sectors, value chains and services. The CCRI is currently researching which Research & Innovation (R&I) gaps still need to be bridged to boost circular economy implementation in cities and regions.

Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues

To complement this research, the CCRI Coordination and Support Office is organising a series of online Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues in 2024-2025 to engage with key stakeholders from local and regional governments, researchers from academia and industry, and organisations working at EU level in the field of circular economy.

The aim of this CCRI Dialogue is to gain, from a multi-stakeholder perspective, a better understanding of the R&I needs and priorities, as well as to deepen the R&I gaps already identified. The European Commission will process the output of the Dialogues for further R&I initiatives and funding opportunities.

Expression of interest

Experts can express their interest by completing this survey. The European Commission will then select the shortlist of experts to invite depending on the topic.

In February and March 2024, three CCRI Multi-Stakeholder Dialogues will be organised, focussing on the value chains of construction, plastics and electronics. More information on the next Stakeholder Dialogues will follow soon.

Should you have any questions, feel free to contact the CCRI Helpdesk at helpdesk@circular-cities-and-regions.eu for more information.
