Five regions involved in the Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills in the Cultural Heritage, and more to come in case of success!

Following the Tourism & Cultural Heritage Working Group Meeting on “Bridging the Skills Gap on Cultural Heritage”, and the significant interest raised by the Sector Skills Alliance in the Cultural Heritage field, ERRIN facilitated the inclusion of its member regions in a consortium led by the University of Barcelona. The objective is to develop a Blueprint to address skills shortages and unemployment by gathering information for the European skills panorama, and developing a sector skills strategyoccupational profilesvocational programmes and qualifications.

The regions are important both in the intelligence-gathering phase as well as for the design of the long term action, which should be rolled out at the national and regional levels.

We are pleased to announce that Alentejo Regional Development Agency (PT), Basque Country (ES), Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (DE), Tuscany (IT), Vastra Gotaland (NL) were included in the consortium as Affiliated Partners. ART-ER and Lombardy Region joined as Associated Partners.

Moreover, ERRIN joined as Full Partner, ensuring the coordination of the regional involvement as well as the advocacy.

In case of success, further regions will be able to join the Alliance as Associated Partners.

The Blueprint will run from 2021-2024.
