Fourth meeting of the Commission Expert Group on Cultural Heritage

The Commission Expert Group on Cultural Heritage, chaired by the Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, twice a year gathers stakeholder organisations, individual experts and member states. It is set up to give independent advice on cultural policies and to ensure a follow-up of the European Year on CH 2018-related initiatives. 

During its fourth meeting, on19th and 20th April, the Expert Group met online to address new EU initiatives including the New European Bauhaus, the new funding programmes Creative Europe and Horizon Europe and Cultural Heritage links with priority areas as sustainability and climate, digitalisation and the recovery.

ERRIN was represented in the meeting by Martina Hilger, (Free Hanseatic City of Bremen), co-leader of the Working Group on Cultural Heritage & Tourism.
