Help shape the future European Cloud for Cultural Heritage: ECHOES survey now open

Building on discussions and preparatory work that took place within the CHARTER project, in which ERRIN was a partner, the ECHOES consortium is now designing and implementing the architecture for a future digital infrastructure. The goal is to develop a European Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH).

To ensure the Cloud meets the real needs of professionals across the cultural heritage sector, ECHOES has launched a Europe-wide consultation. The goal is to gather insights into the tools, processes, dataset, and workflows currently used in the field, as well as expectations for the upcoming Cultural Heritage Cloud.

ERRIN invites its members and stakeholders to respond to this survey in order to map the diverse communities that will interact with the Cloud in the future, from institutional actors to freelance professionals, across all regions and areas of practice.

The input will shape the Cloud's infrastructure, tools, services and training activities. It will also inform the direction of future funding calls, ensuring they respond to the sector's actual needs.

Selected participants may be invited to take part in follow-up focus groups, workshops or interviews.

E.C.C.O., a CHARTER partner, is contributing to the project by supporting community mapping and development, ensuring the consultation reflects Europe's rich diversity in heritage professions and practices.

The deadline to respond to the survey is 30 June.
