The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), a public-private partnership between the EU and the European life sciences industries, officially launched this week and approved its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). 

IHI, previously the Innovative Medicines Initiative, is dedicated to advancing health research and innovation across a broad range of sectors. Its core goals are to translate health and research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society, ensuring that Europe remains at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary, sustainable and patient-centric health research.

ERRIN's Health Working Group is following the launch of the IHI and will be planning a meeting on it soon. 

IHI has launched a call for scientific and health experts to join its advisory panel, who will play a key role in setting the partnership's priorities and designing calls for proposals. Apply by 21 February here.
