Mid-November 2022, Commissioner Thierry Breton presented the Transition Pathway on Proximity and Social Economy. NEB community also contributed to the final document through a co-creation process either individually or at the dedicated workshop, we organized in spring. 

Following the publication, the Commission launched a Call for pledges to stakeholders. The purpose of the call is to collect pledges from stakeholders on the concrete actions that they will take to help achieve the shared action areas identified in the Transition Pathway. The initial deadline to submit pledges is 28 February 2023 as the first stock-taking will take place. However, the call will remain open on a rolling basis.
