León, one of the most important cities in Castilla y León, has been announced as a candidate to be the seat of the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre. The news follows two decades of work to establish the city's strong cybersecurity framework, its research and innovation ecosystem and its facilities. 

Members States' governments will vote on 9 December to make a decision. You can view and read León's candidature in the attached document.
