LIFE Awards 2020 - winners announced

The winners of the 2020 Life Awards have today been announced at EU Green Week. The awards celebrate the most innovative, inspirational and effective LIFE projects.
The winners include:
- DINALP Bear - A Slovenian based project that achieved a better human-bear co-existence in the Dinaric Mountains won in the Nature category
- Flaw4Life - A project from Lisbon that fights food waste by creating an alternative market for ugly fruits and vegetables won in the Environment category and also won the 2020 Citizen's Prize
- FIRELIFE - This project worked on reducing forest fires in Hungary and won in the Climate category
- Life PREPAIR - This project won the Adapting to COVID-19 Award for its work on understanding the impact of the pandemic.
