NetZeroCities, project in which ERRIN is a partner, opened a Call for Pilot Cities on 5 September 2022. The Call was initially set to close on 4 November. However due to the massive interest from cities and the complexity of submitting an application, the decision has been made to extend the deadline to 15 November at 12:00 noon CET. This will enable cities to properly finalise their applications, and to successfully submit their proposals on the online submission tool.

The NZC Pilot Cities programme will test and implement innovative approaches to rapid decabornisation over a two-year period. The pilot cities programme cover all thematic areas that contribute to climate neutrality, as well as the systemic transformation needed to achieve neutrality.

The selected pilot cities will receive funding and practical assistance from the NZC Consortium partners. More information is available here.
