Over 20 CCRI Pilots & Fellows selected from among ERRIN Member Regions

The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) announced the selection of its 12 Pilots and 25 Fellows – cities, regions and territorial clusters that will lead Europe’s circular economy transition.

The CCRI is part of the new European Circular Economy Action Plan adopted in March 2020 and aims to support Europe’s green transition by boosting circularity at local and regional level. In order to build capacity and drive economic growth, it works to increase collaboration and knowledge sharing between EU cities and regions.

From over 100 applications, the CCRI-CSO selected 12 Pilots that will benefit from four years of knowledge-sharing and technical support to speed up their circular policy implementation. 25 Fellows were also selected and will liaise with the pilot group to engage in the multistakeholder learning process.

ERRIN is pleased to see that 22 cities, regions and territorial clusters represented in the ERRIN network have been selected. Congratulations to all our successful members that will work closely with the CCRI-CSO to lead Europe’s circular economy transition.
