Public consultation launched of European Health Data Space

Public consultation launched on European health data space

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the European health data space (EHDS). The consultation follows plans to better facilitate access and exchange of health data within the EU while making use of digital technologies and AI. This is seen to be essential to providing affordable healthcare with better outcomes.

All stakeholders, from health care providers to members of the public, academics to digital and medical devices industries, are invited to share their views and experiences to support the impact assessment that will accompany the EHDS proposal.

Be sure to follow ERRIN's Health Working Group to be the first to hear of its activities related to the EHDS, included in its annual plan for 2021.

The consultation is open until 26 July. Learn more and contribute here
