Policy and Governance in Action: First meeting of CO-WATERS Working Group

The CO-WATERS Working Groups (co-facilitated by ERRIN) bring together cities, regions, islands and ports, alongside relevant stakeholders, to exchange experiences, explore shared challenges and develop practical approaches around different themes that are key to the blue transition. These include Policy and Governance, Capacity Building, Stakeholder Engagement and Funding and Finance among others.

The first meeting of the 'Policy and Governance in Action' Working Group will take place on 22 October 2026 at 11:00–12:30 CEST. ERRIN Members are encouraged to join to know more about the EU policy landscape around ocean and water (Water Resilience Strategy, EU Ocean Pact and Ocean and Water R&I Strategy) and discuss how the objectives of the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 can be translated at local and regional levels.
