COVID-19 symptom assessment - example of Kuopio

Kuopio sub-region, a part of East & North Finland, has been participating in national consortia to create “Omaolo.fi” online survey-tool to assess the symptoms COVID-19. The COVID-19 symptom assessment is available to all residents of Finland in Finnish and Swedish. The electronic symptom assessment enables equal access to service regardless of the time of day and the person’s place of residence. Kuopio Living Lab has also acted as co-creation platform for new product to infusion remote monitoring that is now used to fight COVID-19 at the hospitals. Remote monitoring minimizes unnecessary visits to isolation rooms while saving on protective equipment such as respirators. News release (only in Finnish) can be found here.
