Proposal Information
The Highly Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital - ORAS Spa - is a joint-stock company born in 2004 from an acute care facility, converted into a high-level rehabilitation hospital now wholly owned by two Local Health Authorities (ULSS 2 and AULSS 1) and the Municipality of Motta di Livenza, accredited to the Italian National Healthcare System and with the same objectives of a state hospital. ORAS is located in the small city of Motta di Livenza (Veneto Region, Treviso district, close to Venice) and provides ordinary and outpatient treatments for patients needing rehabilitation projects for diverse disabilities, either temporary or permanent, characterized by a high scale of complexity along with high clinical and nursing needs. Hospital website: https://www.ospedalemotta.it/en/ ORAS’s expertise: Throughout the time, the hospital has reinforced its leading role within and outside regional borders, in the fields of highly specialized cardiovascular, pneumological, neuromotor, musculoskeletal, spinal cord and severe brain injuries rehabilitation, for about 1.5 million local and out-the-Region population. Multi-professional teams formed by highly specialized healthcare professionals provide high-quality management to particularly frail and complex patients, customizing rehabilitation programmes on the basis of patient's pathology, clinical stability and needs.
