SMART is a flexible, industry-driven EUREKA Cluster program on Advanced Manufacturing. Our aim is to promote collaborative, international & close-to-market R&D&I projects. Periodically, SMART organises a Call to submit R&D&I project proposals in the area of Advanced Manufacturing applications and technologies. The SMART call process is designed to be quick and efficient, 10 months from project idea to project approval, while at the same time maintaining a high quality standard.   Call Description SMART projects must pursue technical innovation and application excellence regarding future products and processes, innovative manufacturing-related services or advanced production equipment.  The proposals must fit within SMART research and innovation domains:        ► Advanced Manufacturing Processes        ► Intelligent and Adaptive Manufacturing Systems       ► Digital, Virtual and Efficient Companies       ► Person-Machine Collaboration       ► Sustainable Manufacturing        ► Customer-Based Manufacturing   Two Stage Call The SMART call is separated into a two-stage call procss. 1) The Project Outline (PO) provides a short overview of the concept, the main objectives and the partnership of the project. POs are evaluated and improved inviting them to the second stage. 2) The Full Project Proposal (FPP) is a complete description of the project objectives, excellence, implementation work packages and expected impact.
