EU Missions Project Mapping
ERRIN aims to provide support to its members in developing successful proposals under the EU Missions of the Horizon Europe 2023-2024 work programme. As the deadlines are fast approaching, it is crucial for us to comprehend the interests of our members. Therefore, we have designed a brief survey with the upcoming EU Missions calls that may be of interest to regional and local stakeholders. This survey is intended to assess the level of interest and identify the type of role that members believe they can undertake. Based on the survey results, we plan to organise targeted activities, including coffee meetings or consortia building sessions with the interested parties.
Besides this survey, we will also seek to gather input on the same interest from external stakeholders who can contribute to future consortia, especially potential coordinators.
The survey is only open to ERRIN members. Submissions from non-members will not be taken into account.
The form will remain open for expressions of interest until Friday 2 June. By filling in the survey, you agree to share the information and contact details you provided with ERRIN members and potential external coordinators. Please contact us if you do not wish to share this information.
We'll make sure to include any late entries in the document overview. However, it's worth noting that the deadlines for the calls are getting closer.

EU Missions Calls
There are currently 33 new calls for proposals open under five EU Missions within the Horizon Europe 2023-2024 work programme to support research and innovation projects. The calls cover a wide range of thematic areas, including zero emission mobility, positive clean energy districts, urban renaturing, restoration of our oceans and much more. Three of the 33 new calls are joint actions between different Mission areas.
The mission areas are:
The EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities that seeks to support cities on their journey to climate neutrality - enabling them to roll out climate action plans and achieve climate neutrality by 2030.
The EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change that aims to support the development of state-of-the-art knowledge and identify gaps for enabling conditions for building climate resilience in all phases (plan, respond, adapt).
The EU Mission on Restore our Oceans and Waters by 2030 that aims to protect and restore marine ecosystems and biodiversity, prevent and eliminate marine pollution, and create a carbon-neutral and circular Blue Economy.
The EU Mission on A Soil Deal for Europe that aims to establish 100 living labs and 'lighthouses' to showcase good practices and lead the transition towards healthy soils by 2030.
The EU Mission on Cancer that aims to improve the lives of more than 3 million people by 2030 through prevention, cure and for those affected by cancer including their families, to live longer and better.
The survey is only open to ERRIN members and their regional ecosystem
