V4 Conference 2024

The V4 R&I support offices and the Czech R+D office in Brussels (CZELO) are holding the V4 Conference 2024! The program highlights the best practices and emerging trends in research infrastructures within the V4 region. The event will take place on 18 April at the Renaissance Brussels Hotel (physical event only).

Raw materials at stake

Following the Action Plan on Critical Raw Materials of the European Commission, which develops value chains for EU industrial ecosystems to reduce dependency through resource circularity and innovation, the University of Lorraine, along with European and socioeconomics stakeholders, will exchange on three key issues: taking stock of the substitution issues which have geopolitical consequences, of recycling, which is set to develop considerably, and finally of the training and skills needs at European level in these areas. Workshop on Innovative Tools to Engage Older Adults in Managing Their Health

The Greater Copenhagen EU Office is hosting a workshop on 11 April entitled "Innovative Tools to Engage Older Adults in Managing Their Health.” as part of the SMILE Horizon 2020 project. The project supports older adults with severe health conditions in 'ageing in place.' Within living labs, they actively engage senior citizens, particularly those with COPD, dementia, or post-surgery, to comprehensively understand their unique needs and preferences for in-home care.
