The Slovenian Business & Research Association (SBRA) is thrilled to have worked with the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Science and Arts (ZRC SAZU) on their official Position Paper for the upcoming FP10! ZRC SAZU is Slovenia’s leading hub for the humanities and social sciences. 

As Europe shapes its next Framework Programme, ZRC SAZU is sending a clear signal: technology alone won't solve our biggest challenges. From climate change to digital transformation and democratic resilience, understanding human behaviour, culture and history is essential.

Their key recommendations:

• Reinforce the European Research Council (ERC) and its bottom-up approach
• Ensure SSH integration is mandatory and meaningful across all research clusters
• Protect fundamental research autonomy from short-term political pressures
