From the 23rd-26th of February, the EU Industry Days will take place providing European, national, regional and local actors a platform to discuss policies and work together to enable European industry to deliver jobs, growth and innovation in Europe. Within this context, a session entitled Scaling up SMEs in the midst of Corona will take place on the 24th of February 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 (CET).

The Region of Murcia Brussels Office / INFO on behalf of the Scale Up consortium wishes to invite ERRIN members to join its discussions in the framework of providing support to SMEs during the pandemic as well as shaping the update of the Strategy foreseen in the 2021 European Commission work programme.

The strengthening of the business fabric from a multi-faceted approach while assisting SMEs to recover as well as remain competitive is a challenge we are and will be facing. Under the umbrella of the Interreg Programme, we will show how SMEs have been and continue to be supported in their boost and scale up from different but holistic perspectives.

With this event, Scale Up and Foundation Interreg projects intend to actively participate in the monitoring and implementation of the New Industrial Strategy for Europe and also in the shaping of the update of the Strategy foreseen in the 2021 European Commission work programme. On the other hand, it will be an opportunity to show good practices of how strong and coordinated regional entrepreneurship ecosystems succeed to make the most out of EU Interreg projects, finding synergies with common objectives, to effectively contribute to strong and resilient SMEs and help them to innovate, scale-up and create more employment.
