EU mobility transition pathway, Transport WG meeting

The Transition Pathway for Mobility was launched on 26 January 2024 by the European Commission (DG GROW).

The EU mobility transition pathway, co-created in collaboration with national and regional authorities, industry stakeholders, NGOs, and other interested parties, aims to boost the European Union's commitment to fostering innovation, green technologies, and digital advancements within the mobility sector. It offers many opportunities to bring the industrial ecosystem together to find common solutions to upcoming challenges. Indeed, the initiative will bring a new project pipeline to boost investments and ease the transition.

A representative from DG GROW will join this Transport WG meeting to present the initiative and the opportunities for members.

The second part of the meeting will focus on local and regional strategies to face the transformation of the sector. We are looking for regional examples to be presented during the meeting. The presentation should focus on the governance structure to deal with the changes and how to involve the private sector and all the regional ecosystem actors.

If you are interested in presenting your regional example, please send an email to gaia.marotta@errin.eu by Thursday 7 March.
