Natural Resources Institute Finland Luke’s webinar will contribute to the ongoing discussion around the European Green Deal and forests by presenting insights from research. Contributions include topics such  as a review of forest relevant targets in various EU policies and their implications to the forests in the EU, LULUCF, multiple-use forests, and provisioning of EU forest data. 

The European Green Deal provides an action plan for the European Union to advance the efficient use of resources by moving to a clean and circular economy whilst restoring biodiversity and cutting pollution. The Green Deal also includes several policy initiatives which will have an enormous impact on forests and forest sector.
