LIFE ADAPTATE’s final conference will take place on 16 September. The online event will bring together scientists, policymakers, organisations and citizens involved in climate change impacts and adaptation in the urban environment.

LIFE ADAPTATE has worked to increase the commitment of European municipalities to the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy. The project team has developed local adaptation plans which are being used by several municipalities, helping them to combat climate change. They have also developed demonstrative pilot actions, tested and demonstrated cooperation schemes, and created resources and guidelines. The guidelines should enable networking, transfer of contents and replication of the project activities at the European level.

The Life Adaptate Conference will tackle the very latest advances in climate change in six municipalities from three EU countries. Its programme will be offered with the support and participation of:
