Lombardy, Europe: Winning the challenge of competitiveness
In line with the EU's objectives of enhancing economic, social and territorial cohesion among member states, the Lombardy Region will examine strategies to address evolving competitiveness challenges (such as reconversion, procurement, global supply chains, the defence industry, tariffs, competition and the protection of championships), as well as ecological and digital transitions (including the Clean Industrial Deal, energy efficiency, AI, and research and technological innovation).
This event will provide a valuable opportunity to compare Lombardy's stakeholders' needs with the European Commission's priorities and initial decisions, approximately one year after the Commission took office.
The aim is to strengthen cooperation between regional institutions, public and private stakeholders, and representatives of the European Parliament, the Council, the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions, the host of this event.
