Helsinki EU Office supervises its shareholders’ interests and promotes their visibility in different EU fora. The office also provides information regarding the preparation of EU legislation, EU funding programmes, events, co-operation, and networking opportunities. Helsinki EU Office actively follows European urban and regional policy, cohesion policy, research and innovation policy, transport, environment and energy policy, culture and creative policies as well as digitalisation and health policy.

Shaping the content NEB Facility: ERRIN NEB Task Force meeting

ERRIN members are invited to join the next NEB Task Force meeting, which will focus on the recently announced NEB Facility. The meeting will include the participation of the JRC, which will present the two components of the facility. Knowledge valorisation for the regional and local R&I ecosystems

On 14 May, the European Committee of the Regions and DG R&I of the European Commission organise a seminar on "Knowledge valorisation for the regional and local R&I ecosystems". The conference will focus on how regional and local authorities can foster knowledge valorisation and boost innovation ecosystems, translating knowledge into practical and innovative solutions. It will discuss the role of Codes of Practice in strengthening knowledge valorisation capacities in R&I ecosystems and stimulate a mutual learning exercise on main recommendations and a toolbox for policymakers at the national and regional levels. Panel debates will exchange about practices that foster knowledge valorisation in Local Ecosystems and discuss how to unlock the regional potential of knowledge valorisation.
