The North Norway European Office (NNEO), represents the regional interests of northern Norway in Brussels. The office serves as a link between North Norwegian actors and the European Union. The office holds an informational role, with particular focus on the Arctic, regional policy, industry, energy, blue growth, maritime affairs and transport.

100 ERRIN member cities and regions become signatories of the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change Charter

During the recent European Research and Innovation Days, the European Commission announced the 2nd wave of signatories to the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change Charter, with a further 100 regions and local authorities signing. Of the now 215 signatories, a staggering 100 are associated with ERRIN member cities and regions.

Successful ERRIN - EC dialogue on Mission Starfish

On 18 June ERRIN’s Blue Growth Working Group organised together with the Mission Starfish Secretariat a dialogue on the role of regions in area-based lighthouses anticipated in the Mission. It was an opportunity for ERRIN members to come together with those working on the Mission and its implementation plan to discuss potential lighthouse activities, their scale and governance.

Four different projects and approaches will be presented as examples to demonstrate how future EU policy could contribute to using the potential of the circular economy in industries.
