ERRIN members to host events at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2026
The European Week of Regions and Cities, taking place in Brussels from 12–14 October 2026, will once again serve as a leading platform for dialogue on regional and urban policy in Europe. This year the motto is 'Strong regions, strong Europe'. ERRIN is pleased to announce that its members will be strongly represented in this year’s programme, with sessions addressing a wide range of topics relevant to Europe’s regions and cities.

Sustainable tourism in action: RESIST supports new approaches in Puglia
Through RESIST, regional partners are developing and testing solutions that encourage more sustainable tourism practices and support local stakeholders in adapting to climate-related challenges. These activities aim to balance tourism development with environmental protection, while enhancing the resilience of coastal and rural areas that are particularly vulnerable to climate impacts.

ENERGIE project | Move to Planet Be: Under-35 Talents Called to Green the Regeneration of Three Mediterranean Cities
The Strategic Agency for Technology, Technology Transfer and Innovation (ARTI) of the Puglia Region has launched an international call for nine young professionals who will work in Brindisi, Matera and Aigialeia (Western Greece) on urban regeneration, sustainability and innovation. process to support the activities of the project “Empowering New Energies and Resources in Greece Italy area” (ENERGIE) funded by the Interreg Greece-Italy 2021/2027 Programme. Deadline to apply is 27 February.

ERRIN at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025
The 23rd European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) brought together over 6,000 participants in Brussels under the motto Shaping Tomorrow, Together. As the largest annual event on EU Cohesion Policy, it provided a platform for cities and regions to exchange ideas on sustainable development, innovation and inclusiveness. ERRIN and its members were actively engaged throughout the week, contributing to and supporting several sessions that highlighted the importance of strong and connected regional innovation ecosystems.

RESIST Transfer Plan: Catalonia, Baixo Alentejo and Puglia
This deliverable presents the knowledge transfer from Catalonia to Baixo Alentejo and Puglia, focusing on cutting-edge climate adaptation solutions.
