Creative Skills Week 2026: Join ERRIN at the Local Skills Partnerships Marketplace
ERRIN members are invited to participate in Creative Skills Week 2026, taking place in Brussels from 7–10 September 2026. The event will bring together representatives from the cultural and creative sectors, policymakers, education providers and industry stakeholders to explore how creative skills can help Europe address pressing challenges related to democracy, technological transformation and social cohesion.
Under the theme 'The Difference that Makes the Difference', this year's edition will focus on the role of creative skills and creative confidence – the ability to turn creative thinking into action and connect different forms of expertise – in addressing societal and economic challenges, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and supporting Europe's green and digital transitions. The event is co-organised by EIT Culture & Creativity, CYANOTYPES and Creative Futures Academy, in collaboration with the Creative Pact for Skills, CREDEX and GreenCCIrcle and hosted by ICHEC Brussels Management School and LUCA School of Arts.
As part of the programme, ERRIN will contribute to the session 'Local Skills Partnerships – Marketplace' on Tuesday 8 September, from 09:30 to 11:00 at LUCA School of Arts.
The session, organised in collaboration with the Creative Pact for Skills, will explore how local and regional ecosystems can translate European skills agendas into concrete partnerships and implementation models. Participants will discuss the role of local skills partnerships, ecosystem intermediaries and cross-sector collaboration in connecting education providers, industry, SMEs, policymakers and communities. Through interactive exchanges and practical examples, the session will showcase approaches that help strengthen regional skills ecosystems and address emerging skills needs.
ERRIN's participation reflects the ongoing work of the Culture and Creativity Cluster's Skills Workstream, which supports knowledge exchange and collaboration on skills development, lifelong learning and talent attraction across European regions. The session will provide an opportunity to share regional experiences and discuss how place-based partnerships can contribute to the implementation of European skills initiatives.
ERRIN members are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as places are limited and the event is already close to full capacity. Further information on registration and the full programme is available here.
