On Tuesday 22 June the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Commission are hosting a joint Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) event as a side event of European Research and Innovation Days 2021. The session will address the role of regions and cities in the European Research Area (ERA) and opportunities presenting themselves from Horizon Europe.

During the session ERRIN Chair Sarah English (Scotland Europa) will, on behalf of ERRIN, highlight the importance of ecosystem thinking as a framework in the renewed ERA.
